Road trip to ORP

Yesterday I drove out to Oregon Raceway Park and took hwy 14 in Washington. There were lots of photo opportunities along the way, but I didn't have time to stop at them all. Next time I will allow more time.

Not much to say here, I finally started shooting in shutter priority, so this is somewhat auto but somewhat manual as well.

I took some photos of my little man this morning. I left the camera on auto, but I played with lighting, depth of field, and angles.

New Year's Eve 2008

The first experimental pictures. Some turned out pretty good, I just used the automatic feature on the camera so I could get a feel for it. I'll start playing with the manual features in my next round of shots.

Welcome to the dawn of Fearless Fhoto!

With the introduction of a new DSLR camera (the Nikon D90), I'll be tossing up select photos for people to view and critique. Please PLEASE tell me what you think, since this is a learning experience for me.
